Kartikeya and Makrand are eclectic musicians who transcend the known realms of sound by amalgamating flavours of ancient, classical, contemporary, and future elements into their music and ambience. The duo has collaborated on several projects together. Makrand Sanon, known for his exploratory percussion and classical inventiveness, joins forces with Kartikeya Vashist, a prodigious flautist with soulful and surreal melodies. Together, they bring a diverse range of musical influences and ideas, spanning from world music, folk, and Indian classical to jazz, blues, and rock ‘n’ roll.

Gagan Singh, Chief Culture Evangelist at Anuj Puri’s Anarock Group, engages in a conversation with Zainab Patel, Inclusion and Diversity Lead at Pernod Ricard India.

The diversity leaders can share how they have seen (or how they can foresee) diversity be celebrated in new areas such as culture.

Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati is a renowned female spiritual leader in India. Originally from Los Angeles and a graduate of Stanford University, she has lived in the Himalayas for 27 years.

During her presentation, she will share her experiences of navigating between cultures and highlight three key aspects that Indians should understand about the West, as well as three things that Westerners should understand about India.

While there is already a lot of collaboration between Indian and US companies, this is likely to grow exponentially in the years ahead. Beyond practical issues like time zone work schedule management, what are the cultural issues that need to be navigated for maximum success?
