Dare to Overcome: The Economics of Kindness
Dare to Overcome (DTO) is the premier global event for business leaders to share and celebrate best practices, virtues, and values in being allies of differing communities, faiths and cultures in workplaces and marketplaces, thereby building peace.
DTO London’s theme is “The Economics of Kindness” with a special focus on social enterprise impact investing. No matter the macroeconomic backdrop, kindness in business really does pay. Participants have a chance to hear from business leaders at the forefront of kind workplaces as well as learn about our initiatives to promote such an economy, including:
- Faith-Friendly Workplace REDI Index
- Economics of Kindness Award (forthcoming)
- King Husein Global Business & Interfaith Peace Awards
- Business Skills & Human Rights Curriculum
- Common Growth Fund
Dare to Overcome began in Rio de Janeiro (2016) with the support of Brazilian President Michel Temer, then moved to South Korea (2018) under Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon’s patronage, then to Tokyo (2021) with former Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama’s active support. Since 2022, it has been held in partnership with the world’s largest carrier, American Airlines, DTO’s official airline and partner, including in India (2023 and 2024) and in Washington DC (2022 and 2025). In 2026, DTO comes to London!
