Dare to Overcome: An Economy for All

Dare to Overcome (DTO) is the premier global event demonstrating and celebrating how business is a powerful force for interfaith understanding, social cohesion, and peace. DTO also fosters mutual respect and engagement among people of diverse faiths and beliefs in workplaces worldwide through our:

Dare to Overcome began in Rio de Janeiro (2016) with the support of Brazilian President Michel Temer, then moved to South Korea (2018) under Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon’s patronage, then to Tokyo (2021) with former Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama’s active support. Since 2022, it has been held in partnership with the world’s largest carrier, American Airlines, DTO’s official airline and partner, including in India (2023 and 2024) and in Washington DC (2022 and 2025). In 2026, DTO comes to London!

12th October 2026 — Monday

Monday afternoon/evening, 12th October, Speaker’s Apartment, Westminster Palace (TBC): Reunion reception for Global Business & Interfaith Peace Award winners and finalists since its inception in 2016.

13th October 2026 — Tuesday

Tuesday morning, 13th October, Mansion House, City of London (confirmed): Breakfast with the Lady Mayor, an event focusing on social impact investing that both empowers communities and builds social cohesion, with dialogue between the social impact enterprise community in the City of London and the global community being gathered for Dare to Overcome.

Tuesday daytime, 13th October, Salesforce Tower Ohana Floor, City of London (confirmed). Continuing high level discussion on social enterprise and social impact investment between social impact enterprise community in the City of London and the global community being gathered for Dare to Overcome as well as representatives of the worlds most faith-friendly workplaces, according to the REDI Index

Tuesday evening, 13th October, Guildhall or St Paul’s cathedral crypt or a Livery Hall (TBC): Gala Awards dinner for the 2026 Global Business & Interfaith Peace Award winners and recipients of the first Multi-Faith Impact Investment

14th October 2026 — Wednesday

Wednesday morning-lunch, 14th October, Woolf Institute, Cambridge University (TBC): High level roundtable on the rationale for faith-friendly workplaces and boardrooms

Wednesday afternoon/evening, 14th October, St. Katharine Cree Guild Church, City of London: Introduction to ministry and faith-based social enterprise in the City of London, followed by Evensong with Lloyd’s Choir and the 377th Lion Sermon

15th October 2026 — Thursday

Thursday, 15th October, the Shape The World Summit (location TBC). Convened annually in locations worldwide by our partner Consulus, the 2026 STW Summit marks a new era of global dialogue on the economy. The summit will bring together a diverse group of global leaders to share stories and collaborate on building an economy where compassion guides progress and shared prosperity is the ultimate goal.
