Dare to Overcome London 2026<\/strong> is an international week of leadership, ideas and action bringing together leaders from business, investment, government, academia and civil society to explore how organisations can become more human as they become more technologically powerful. Together, participants will advance human dignity, responsible leadership and the Economics of Kindness<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Artificial intelligence<\/strong> is reshaping work, leadership and business. As technology becomes more powerful, the qualities that distinguish great organisations become increasingly human. Trust, judgement, purpose, courage, belonging, ethical leadership and human dignity<\/strong> are becoming strategic assets in their own right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2026 theme, The Economics of Kindness<\/strong>, speaks directly to this moment. It begins with a simple but powerful conviction: organisations flourish when they build trust, respect human dignity and cultivate the uniquely human capabilities that technology cannot replace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kindness is not sentimentality. It is a leadership discipline that builds trust, unlocks collaboration, strengthens innovation and creates long-term value.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Building on successful gatherings in Rio de Janeiro, Seoul, Tokyo, New Delhi and Washington, DC<\/strong>, Dare to Overcome has become a growing international movement connecting leaders committed to building stronger organisations, stronger communities and a more prosperous future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the week, participants will explore how human-centred leadership<\/strong> contributes not only to organisational success, but also to stronger societies, more resilient economies and a more human future of work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Below is our tentative schedule for DTO London 2026. Participants will have opportunities to speak at or attend a variety of other events during the week with leaders from education and government sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

12th October 2026 — Monday<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monday begins with a forum on Faith, Work, and Education, featuring reports from the BYU-Pathway’s Social Impact Employment initiative, Cambridge’s Woolf Institute, BYU’s International Centre for the Study of Law and Religion, and Free For All’s School Education initiative. Monday evening (invitation only for award winners), 12th October, Westminster Palace: Reunion reception for Global Business & Interfaith Peace Award<\/a> winners since its inception in 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

13th October 2026 — Tuesday<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tuesday morning, 13th October, Mansion House<\/a>, City of London (ticket required<\/a>): Breakfast with the Lady Mayor, an event focusing on social impact investing that both empowers communities and builds social cohesion, with dialogue between the social impact enterprise community in the City of London and the global community being gathered for Dare to Overcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Continuing high level discussion on social enterprise and social impact from the breakfast session. This high-level event explores how business can move beyond creating economic value to investing in human potential, dignity and community, demonstrating practical models that turn enterprise into a force for shared prosperity and peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dare to Overcome Gala Awards Dinner<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Dare to Overcome Gala Awards Dinner<\/strong> is the flagship event of DTO London 2026 (ticket required<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Held in the historic Mansion House, this prestigious black-tie evening will bring together senior executives, investors, Board Chairs, policymakers, academics and civil society leaders from around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More than an awards dinner, the Gala will inaugurate<\/strong> a new annual international convening where leaders share progress in advancing human dignity in both the workplace and the marketplace, helping shape the journey toward the United Kingdom’s G20 Presidency in 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The evening will also feature the launch of a major new paper on why Boards must govern human capability as a strategic asset: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As AI expands organisational power, organisations increasingly depend upon human capability they did not create. For many people, religion or belief is one important and frequently overlooked source of that capability. This paper argue that Boards should govern human capability as a strategic asset and recognises that organisations can translate this into organisation capability.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

A featured leadership conversation with CEOs, Board Chairs and senior leaders will explore how organisations can strengthen the values, culture and human capabilities needed to succeed as technology becomes more powerful. The discussion will focus on practical steps organisations can take to build cultures of trust, dignity, belonging and responsible leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
